Adoption Policies & Fees

Policies

  • You must be at least 21 years old

  • All current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccinations (exceptions may be considered for valid medical reasons or working dogs)

  • You must own your home OR have landlord approval (we will check)

  • You will need to complete an adoption application and agree to a home visit

  • You must live within a 3 hour radius of Delaware (long distance adoptions will be considered on a case by case basis)

Fees

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, on monthly preventatives, and have been examined by a veterinarian. Every dog’s spay or neuter is included in their adoption fee, but never done before their body is ready. Our giant breeds grow on a slower clock, and we honor that.

Adoption fees:

  • Puppies under 1 year $450

  • Adults 1-6 years old $350

  • Seniors 7 years and older $200

Giant breeds (all ages) may require a higher adoption fee, depending on the dog.
